Hanover Township, New Jersey
We drove for this trip. It took about an hour and twenty minutes to get to the Hanover Marriott. It was pretty nice. The weather was cold, as January is supposed to be. The second day we were greeted to snow outside, which was pretty interesting. It didn't really affect us as we were working inside the hotel the whole time. We went to The Auld Shebeen pub a few times which was great.
Not a crazy amount to report on that isn't work related which I'm not talking about here. I had a Wegman's experience, read four chapters in my Inital D omnibus I got for my birthday, and worked all weekend.
Here are some shots of the hotel. Lots of angled windows and a really cool hanging sculpture in the lobby.
As mentioned before, here's The Auld Shebeen. Great food, although I'm still unsure what either of those words mean. There's also a shot of Wegmans, as this was my first Wegmans experience.
Here are three shots I took out of my hotel window. I really love the contrast between Day 1 and Day 2. Lastly, I had to include a shot of this black Cybertruck I saw on the road coming home. Very unpopular opinion, but I actually like the design.
And that was prety much the trip! Pretty good overall. Weather was a little cold, and there wasn't much outside of the Marriott to document. Looking forward to our next stop.
